ABOUT JAYMIE STARR PHOTOGRAPHY

Both my parents were hobby photographers with darkroom gear at home. I learned film developing young and loved the surprise of seeing prints. As a teen I bought an Olympus film camera, then a second so I could keep color and black-and-white rolls ready.

Photography stayed my hobby into adulthood—practicing on our four children and friends—until people began hiring me for weddings. In 2010 I started photographing events in the Willamette Valley and beyond. I specialize in weddings but also shoot families, maternity, newborns, and seniors. I enjoy meeting couples and doing engagement sessions to get to know them before the wedding. Clients have been pleased with their photos and turnaround time and often refer me to friends and family.
